Jeff Beegle enologist
A native of Ohio, Jeff has always been interested in science. He received a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Toledo and a MS in Microbiology from the University of Tennessee. His research and focus centered around microbes, wastewater, and sustainability. During graduate school, he was struck by the entrepreneurial bug and co-founded a startup called mobius pbc. The goal of this company was to convert food & agricultural waste into sustainable chemicals and materials and Jeff helped manage the core research and development activities within the company. In 2023, he left mobius to pursue a career in wine, where his personal interests in wine combined with his professional interests in microbiology and sustainability. After working at Artifex Wine Company in Walla Walla, Jeff joined the team at Echolands in 2024.
Outside of the winery, you’ll often find Jeff cycling or snowboarding. He’s an avid Formula 1 and Ice Hockey fan and he loves cooking.
