Nick was born and raised in Pasco, Washington, where his family first settled and began farming in the late 1800’s. He had his first experiences in the vineyard when his father decided to develop 20 acres of land into an estate vineyard in the then-new Red Mountain AVA. At the young age of 15, Nick knew he wanted to farm wine grapes as a career.
Nick attended Washington State University, where he majored in Viticulture & Enology and graduated with honors. Since graduating, Nick has worked as a vineyard manager in the Columbia Valley for some of the most well-respected vineyard management companies throughout nine of Washington and Oregon’s AVAs. Nick is now farming in the Walla Walla Valley AVA, which he appreciates for its incredible diversity of terroir.
