THE HARVEST
Our grapes are hand harvested and sorted and, for the Syrah, we foot trod the clusters after they came into the winery in small bins, stems and all. The Bordeaux varieties are sorted, crushed and de-stemmed.
WINEMAKING
We are working in a shared facility and that can have its limitations. On the other hand, you’re working with people who have vast and diverse experience. Our winemaker, Brian Rudin, works side by side with the team there to shepherd every lot, and every barrel (okay, a few stainless steel kegs too for the Grenache) towards our end goals of refreshing balance but significant texture and longevity.
